East Central Wisconsin Lutheran High School Association’s philosophy of education is based upon the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God centers upon Jesus Christ to whom all Scriptures bear witness and upon the Lutheran Confessions as taught in the Book of Concord as a true and meaningful exposition of the Christian faith. The primary purpose of Wolf River Lutheran High School is to provide the opportunity for students to find identity, meaning, purpose, and power for their life in Christ by growing in grace and in their knowledge of Him as their Lord and Savior. Faith finds fruitful expression in life; therefore, Christian education is designed to help students live out that view of life in unselfish Christian service in their world. Wolf River Lutheran High School will strengthen the entire community.

The ECWLHS Association has established by-laws that are necessary guidelines to conduct business in an orderly manner. The association’s board of directs is elected by the voting representatives of the association’s member congregations. In October of 1999 the association purchased 32.36 acres of land at the northwest quadrant of the intersection of state highways 29 and 22 on River Bend Road, Town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, Wisconsin 54166.

The association’s vision is to construct a high school that will provide opportunity for additional expansion. The initial phase of construction will allow for approximately 140 students. A chapel, gymnasium, and cafeteria will be included in the initial construction. Adequate parking and an athletic field are also included in the Phase I of the project plan.

Our Lord has provided the workers and the land and He will bless this endeavor. The association is looking forward to the day when this vision becomes a reality.
