World Geography We will learn the five themes of geography and explore each of the continents using these themes. We will also study specific countries in greater depth, and look at how geography has affected, and continues to affect, LCMS work in different parts of the world.
US History A
US History B In the second installment of US History, students explore US history from reconstruction to the present day. We will look at the development of the US into an international power, and study key events and people during this time period.
American Government Students will study the roots of US government, the development of our constitution, the structure of our government. We will also examine how our government works, and how it changes.
Language Spanish is a language with a growing importance nationally and worldwide. Students will explore the basics of Spanish, learning to converse about topics relevant to daily life including families, interests, holidays and celebrations, school, classes, and work, and ordering in a restaurant,. Phy-Ed Physical activity is an important part of maintaining good health. Students will participate in a variety of activities which promote good health, and may foster a life-long interest in specific sports or activities. We will also study the fundamentals of a variety of sports. |
