Choir 1 Credit We will learn proper breath control as well as other useful techniques. We will also study music, notation, scales, and critique other choirs to better understand the choir process.
Technology 1 Credit (1st semester only) Students will gain insight into technology and how it is used in the world around us. We will also study technical writing through the use of Microsoft Office, which in turn will help students locate, evaluate, and collect important information from a variety of different sources.
Publishing 1/2 Credit Students will learn the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Publisher when creating posters, banners, and some flash animations. We will also study many different “digital” art styles and the impact they have on the world. We will learn how to build basic websites according to modern design practices and professional standards. Students will also study the use of web standards, such as (x)html, css, domains and ftp servers. |
